Show me a picture more teeming with possibility. I Show me a picture more teeming with possibility. I'll wait.

Finally got my birthday garden bed built and filled last week 🎉

I'm weeks behind on cold-weather veg like carrots, radishes, and greens, but such is life.

Seeds will be planted, food will grow. The garden will heal my currently hurried, harried heart. T-4 days til the semester ends.

Trying to absorb some resilience from my seedlings Trying to absorb some resilience from my seedlings on this #TomatoTuesday

The past few months have been so busy, I've neglected and desperately under-watered my poor wee seedlings – to the point that many were almost dead when I resolutely up-potted them anyway.

This Hungarian Heart seemed so close to death, I opted not to thin, hoping at least one would survive.

Instead, they've both thrived, are too tall to remain under the light, and I'm sure are rootbound sharing this 4-in pot. I'm hoping to have time today to separate and re-pot them, burying them deep so they can manage a couple more weeks under the lights before it's warm enough to plant.

But man, the resilience of plants. Can I have some?

How are your seedlings doing?

Always down for complex baking projects to celebra Always down for complex baking projects to celebrate niche holidays – like this Sourdough King Cake I made for Mardi Gras yesterday.

Side benefit – the baking helped me feel like I was doing something productive while the world *gesticulates wildly*

It turned out great, albeit much larger than we really needed. But king cake coffee breaks the rest of the week are certainly nothing to complain about.

What weird sourdough project should I tackle next?
